BIKERS COME TOGETHER IN FIGHT AGAINST DRUGS

Motorcycle enthusiasts will come together in Mississauga in hopes of
riding towards a drug-free community in Peel.

The fourth annual Poker Run on Sunday, July 24 starts at The
Mississauga News on Wolfedale Rd. and ends at Lucy's Seafood Kitchen
on Millcreek Dr.

Riders will participate in a Poker Run which will see them stop
periodically along their journey to collect playing cards. The rider
with the best hand at the end wins top prize.

The ride will raise needed funds to support Peel Partners for a
Drug-Free Community, a charitable organization dedicated to assisting
young people who have been involved with drugs, and their families,
since 1985.

"The Poker Run will allow people to enjoy a scenic ride while raising
money to help fight drugs," said Eleanor McGregor, executive director
of Peel Partners.

Corporate sponsorships are still available. The cost to enter the
Poker Run is $30 per rider. The $30 fee includes an event T-shirt and
fish and chips from Lucy's Seafood Kitchen. Pledge sheets and route
maps are also available by calling Eleanor McGregor at 905-629-2136.
