HISTORY WILL SHOW FALLACY OF DRUG WARS
Denials of facts might last longer than all here today, but shall not
last longer than the facts themselves. Then the drug warriors will
suffer the harshest historical perspective. It shall overshadow all
else that they were, and all else that they did. In times harsh light,
the drug warriors of today and their supporters will scurry to the
shadows. When cornered they will cough and mumble, ashamed of the hate
that was in their hearts, as do the former racist of today. And so it
should be, because prohibition has always been the equally ugly
sibling of racism. That history has been written, but the lessons have
yet to be learned.
And so the drug war dog of evil merrily chases its tail, as we stand
idly by waiting for the day when we shall sheepishly regret our
tolerance of what will come to be known as intolerable.
