Nine controlled drugs and substance act search warrants were executed
in the four counties and 38 people were charged with a total of 227

The OPP held a conference in Walkerton last Thursday to inform the
public of their 13-month undercover investigation into illicit drug
activity throughout Bruce, Grey, Huron and Perth counties in which
the police concentrated their efforts on street-level and mid-level
methamphetamine traffickers. Some of the seized items were available
for viewing at the conference.

Assistance in the June 23 drug takedown was received from St. Thomas,
Sarnia, West Grey and Hanover police services.
