CRUISE PASSENGERS ARRESTED

At least seven people were arrested as they boarded a cruise ship Thursday
after authorities used drug dogs to sniff out narcotics.

Authorities tested luggage and passengers on the Carnival Celebration,
which was docked at the Ed Austin Cruise Terminal to drop off passengers
and pick up new ones.

The drugs, including Ecstacy, marijuana and cocaine, were found under
clothing, according to arrest reports.

The suspects, who came from six states, were charged with felony
possession. It was unclear if they knew each other.
