POTTY JOCK TEEN JAILED

SINGAPORE - A Gremann teenager has been jailed for six months after he
was caught with marijuana hidden in his jocks on a flight into Singapore.

Ray Sebastian Nantwi Lutzenkirchen, 19, was arrested upon arrival in
the city-state for smoking in a plane toilet on a flight from Bahrain
on December 2, the Straits Times newspaper said.

Police searching him found 1.53 grams of marijuana hidden in his
underwear, the paper said.

Lutzenkirchen pleaded guilty and was sentenced yesterday, the paper
said.

He could have been jailed for 10 years.

Singapore has some of the world's toughest drug laws, including a
mandatory death penalty for anyone caught with more than 15 grams of
heroin or more than 500 grams of marijuana. Those convicted are hanged.

Australian man Nguyen Tuong Van, 25, went to the gallows on December 2
almost three years after being caught at Changi Airport with nearly
400 grams of heroin.
