'HOW DO WE GET THIS SCUM OUT OF MY TOWN'

Editor: The article about those meth kids (The Times, May 14) makes me sick.

I'm 20 and have not touched drugs. I have a stable job and have lived
in Langley on and off my whole life. The fact that they would even say
that Langley should get a tent park is ridiculous. Why? So we can
watch you decay and be drugged up and sell things you "acquire"? Get a
job and stop stealing things.

You can't depend on bottles for smokes for the rest of your life and
you shouldn't have habits that you can't support. This is what our
city is turning into? It's disgusting.

Every time I walk by all the meth kids I have this urge to spit.
What's wrong with kids these days, thinking hand outs and things given
to them are mandatory? Why do I need to work every day for my life to
give you $10 I just worked one hour for? Are you that stupid? Don't
bum anything from me, including smokes, unless that's the bargain to
get you the hell out of my town.

You think your lives are so hard, write your poetry and want everybody
to feel sorry for you. How about I leave my door unlocked, and when
you need cigarettes you can come in and hoop my PS2 which I bought for
half a paycheck. You can sell it for $20. That should get you and your
pathetic friends two packs of smokes.

Pathetic. Learn from the people who have really had to suck it up. How
about you do the same. Don't expect pity or money from me and when you
ask for a cigarette expect a dirty look.

And as a newspaper, I think this is ridiculous of you to print. The
article should have read "How do we get this scum out of my town."
