GROWING IS AN ART FORM

Re: One in 3 legal users nix gov't pot (Canadian Press, April 30).

The professionals up at Prairie Plant Systems obviously do not "road test"
the cannabis grown in Flin Flon. They are giving Manitoba cannabis growers
a bad name and I protest. Growing cannabis is an art form just as much as
tomato growing is.

Fortunately I can help. The Winnipeg police did, after all, label me "the
Cadillac of all growers" when I was busted in 1997.

For instance, PPS needs to lighten up on the fertilizer and feed the plants
nothing but water for the last two-three weeks to ensure all available
nutrients are used up in the last stage of the plant's life.

Cannabis smokers need to be getting a pure white ash to indicate all
impurities have been flushed from the plant.

Too bad Prairie Plant Systems rejected Marc Emery's generous offer to
supply seeds.

Any prize-winning tomato grower will tell you that it all starts with good
seed stock.
