"PRINCE OF POT" COMING TO REGINA

Marc Emery, Cannabis Culture publisher as well as founder and leader of the
BC Marijuana Party will be speaking at the University of Regina on March 9.
The visit comes as part of his Canada-wide tour of universities promoting
political activism.

Emery's brief stop at the University of Regina will be taking place in
Classroom 110 at 7 p.m. Emery is Canada's most well-known marijuana
activist, dubbed by some media as "The Prince of Pot."

Emery's visit is sponsored by the Saskatchewan NDP Students' Association.
The federal New Democratic Party is the only federal party which supports
the legalization of marijuana.

Emery's visit was organized by Arts student and member of Advancing Canadian
Entrepreneurship Regina, Peter Conway.

Conway says he organized Marc Emery's stop at the U of R because he "wants
to try and inform any that will listen what the true story about marijuana
is."

Conway says, "I feel that Marc Emery is one of the most 'objective' pro-pot
activists out there."

Conway continues, "I want the 'occasional toker' and people who have never
smoked pot before to understand where we are coming from when we say we want
to legalize pot."
