The kits, which have been developed for high schools, are part of a drive to highlight the dangers of cannabis use and change the perception that it is a safe recreational drug. NSW Special Minister of State John Della Bosca says the State Government is serious about tackling the issue in the education system. "It's the first kit of its kind in Australia, it's part of a comprehensive strategy which is the first serious attempt by government to address the problem of cannabis in young people from a public health perspective," he said. "We've established cannabis clinics, these are a world first specialising in providing counselling and medical assistance for young people using and abusing cannabis." - --- MAP posted-by: Richard Lake
