SEARCH WARRANTS CONCERN

I read with great anger the Dec. 1 police report, "Police dog detects
pot in school locker." This is a complete waste of valuable resources
that my tax dollars pay for. How much did this cost, and for what? A
misdemeanor marijuana offense. I think our police force should be used
to fight real crimes like robberies, assaults, etc.

Secondly, what have we become as a society? Do we now live in a police
state where everyone is subjected to warrantless searches with no
probable cause?
