Methamphetamine can easily be made in small home laboratories using ingredients available in grocery or drug stores. People may start using methamphetamine to boost their energy, lose weight or improve their social lives. Methamphetamine can be detected in the urine for three to six days. It can also be detected in hair, within a period of about 90 days after use, based on testing approximately four centimetres of the most recent growth. It can be detected in the blood for one to three days. Its street names include meth, crystal, crank, crystal meth, ice, speed, glass, go fast, geek, geet, chalk, gack, pink glass and zip. - --- MAP posted-by: Derek
