WE SUPPORT EFFORTS TO FIGHT METH
Citizens gathered this week in Albertville to learn about efforts to
halt the use of methamphetamine. It is important to remain informed
and inspired to battle this devastating drug, which seizes so many
headlines and fills the police reports with tragic accounts of
criminal behavior.
Local law enforcement and judicial leaders shared their perspectives
on the meth problem at the event at Albertville High School.
We support efforts to fight the spread of crystal meth use in the
community and encourage our readers to share the message that meth
must and will be stopped.
Children need positive role models and encouragement to avoid
experimentation with illegal drugs as they make day to day choices
impacting their future.
Adults need to see meth for the devastating agent of addiction it so
often becomes. They need to find the self-worth within themselves
rather than searching for escape from reality in a toxic chemical substance.
Let's not give up the fight.
