CANNABIS CAFES KEEP SMOKERS OFF THE STREET

Re: Our pot shops are a budding, booming, brisk business, Sept. 7

As president of the Grandview Woodland Community Policing Centre,
Eileen Mosca is probably frustrated with the open cannabis dealing and
smoking in Grandview Park, which is already attracting "Vansterdam
tourists from the suburbs." She should support retail cannabis outlets
like Da Kine that shift unregulated dealing from the park to a cafe
with age-restricted sales.

If Vancouver had more cafes like Da Kine, the parks and sidewalks
wouldn't be clogged with dealers and smokers that frustrate
civic-minded people like Ms. Mosca.
