GROW-OP BLAZES

Re: Ending Reefer Madness, July 23.

Firefighters, in my view, are superheroes. A bell rings, they suit up,
and are ready to jump into the jaws of death to stop a fire that was,
more often than not, caused by some human error.

If marijuana was legalized and regulated, it would lower the danger
for firefighters in that they would have a better idea of what is
inside the buildings they are about to enter. I am surprised that
firefighters across the country aren't saying, "Hey! These grow-ops
should be regulated out in the industrial parks, not in basements of
suburban homes!"

Just one more reason that the Liberals' "decriminalization" idea won't
work, and that full legalization and regulation is the only sensible
way to go.
