POLICE raided two suspected shabu laboratories ' this time in Tondo
and Valenzuela -- and seized 151 drums of shabu precursors and
chemicals yesterday afternoon.

Sketchy reports from the Western Police District said first raided was
an abandoned warehouse at 1753 Jose Abad Santos Avenue and Quiracada
Street in Tondo.

The warehouse was reportedly occupied by Eugene Tan. He was not around
during the raid.

Seized were four drums of alleged precursor materials, strainers,
evaporators, plastic containers and packing materials used in
"purifying" raw shabu.

The seized shabu substances were turned over to the Scene of the Crime
Operations Office in Camp Crame for examination.

suspect that there was something inside the warehouse after it reeked
of chemicals.

Special Operations Task Force and the police seized shabu chemicals
from an abandoned building on Tangile Street, Villa Liwayway in
