THE ROT BEGAN A LONG TIME AGO -- WHO WILL REMOVE IT?

Regarding police raiding the schools in Alliston and Tottenham and finding
the drugs:

Do we want our kids encouraged into living in this type of culture just when
they try to adapt to life independently, just when they're coming out from
their parents' supervision?

If we allow drugs in the classroom, why not let them bring alcohol to school
too -- the effects are similar.

Those encouraging others to adapt to drugs should be behind bars, that
includes the government for their shoddy double standards on drugs. Are they
really taking the matter seriously for the sake of a few votes?

If a kid is doped up to the gills and gets killed on the road who will be
responsible for that? If a doped-up kid commits a crime, do we just ram him
in jail and throw away the key too?

It is unfortunate some kids are gullible and others are bullies. That is how
this all begins: one encourages the other to get hooked and the bully reaps
the rewards.

These kids who are dealing should be behind bars. I don't want my kids
mixing with them in school. Parents of kids who are dealing drugs and the
public should be very aware of who these individuals are.

Everyone wants cheap thrills, but never to face reality. The authorities
allow these situations just to keep people from seeing the real issues, that
way they can blame someone else for their mishandling of things.

Like smoking, the authorities take millions in revenue from it, spend
millions in advertising to stop it and spend millions in subsidies to assist
growers to produce it. Weird isn't it? Who pays for all this fun? Perhaps
you haven't guessed it... yeah, you and me, the taxpayer.

So, where do we go from here? Talk about rights, what rights? If you haven't
realized it yet either, you are a criminal until proven innocent. At least
that's how it looks with the present system in Canada. With such a diverse
mass of people here, they will never co-operate with each other to get real
issues solved, the authorities know this all too well.

Whose side are you on, the kids dealing the drugs or the others intimidated
by them? As a student, why should one be worried if they haven't anything to
hide as they go to school? If people want to cry about rights, realize that
every time you want a new credit card or similar item, your file in the
hands of the authorities is looked up. Get real, the rot began a long time
ago, who is going to remove it?
