BACK UP ANTI-BUSH COMMENTS WITH CASH

Anti-Bush billionaire George Soros has stated that he would pledge millions of his personal fortune to soft money organizations with the focus of defeating the president in next year's election, calling it "a matter of life and death." When challenged if he would trade his $7 billion fortune to unseat President Bush, Soros opened his mouth, then closed it.  He was left speechless.

Would he become poor to beat Bush?

He replied, "If someone guaranteed it."

Of course, the 2004 election is far from a guarantee, particularly to the Democratic nominee.  But, if this is really a "matter of life and death" as Soros claimed, how could he even hesitate on trading his fortune for life? If he actually felt his life or the lives of loved ones were at risk, what kind of man hesitates in choosing life? I can only surmise that he truly doesn't believe what he claims.

And by the way, someone needs to ask Soros exactly whose life is at risk if Bush wins re-election? The last time I looked, we had war declared against us by fanatical Muslims and, thanks to Bush, we haven't been attacked on our homeland since the opening salvo of World War III on Sept.  11, 2001.  If anyone's lives are at risk, it's those of the bad guys.

That said, it should be plain to everyone that it's a matter of life and death if Bush doesn't win and some spaghetti-spined liberal Democrat gets into the White House.  Funny thing: That's exactly what Terror Inc., along with the Democratic Party, is praying for.  They hate it that an aggressive Republican is taking the fight to them, disrupting their operations, and they're doing everything possible in Iraq, as the Democratic Party is here, to sway American public opinion against Bush.

As I see it, it's a matter of life and death if Soros succeeds in his focus to oust the president, but I don't think he will.  Why? Because it's obvious he really doesn't believe that it's a "life and death" cause.  He's just throwing money away for the sake of publicity and to give aid and comfort to the enemy.
