IGNORANCE MADE NEW POT BILL A MESS

To The Editor:

Re: Editorial - Federal Gov't Tables Dopey Law

It is the fault of intolerant, ignorant people like yourselves that the
bill for marijuana policy reform is such a mess.

Justice Minister Cauchon complimented the Senate report that recommended
full legalization as a marvelous work the other day.

All of the scholarly evidence supports, at least, decriminalization.

Yet, reasonable folk are forced to compromise with fearful bigots, and this
is what we receive.

If you people would study and reflect the scholarly advice, versus your
silliness concerning casual marijuana consumption, the bill might be better.

As it is, take a hat off for yourselves for delaying proper reform, again
for the upteenth time in 50 years.
