LET IT GROW

EDMONTON -- So, it will not be criminal to possess marijuana, but doubly
criminal to grow it. Obviously, the not so criminally inclined must deal
with even more hardened criminals in order to acquire a substance that is
not criminal to possess the moment they buy it. Sounds confusing? I should
think so.

This is not rocket science: Decriminalize the possession of one to three
plants for personal consumption and you drive the hardened criminal out of
business. The proposed legislation is not solving anything and is creating
more ambiguity and uncertainty. Is this really the best they can come up with?
