CANADIAN ALLIANCE IS STILL WALKING WITH THE DINOSAURS

Last week, polls showed that a substantial majority of Canadians
believe that criminal sanctions are not appropriate for Canadians who
possess marijuana. Nevertheless the Canadian Alliance's leader Stephan
Harper is opposed to any change that would reflect this fact.

This highlights the Canadian Alliance's true commitment to democracy
and the values of Canadians. Former Canadian Alliance leader Stockwell
Day was noted for his belief in the historical fallacy that early
humans walked with the dinosaurs.

Present Alliance Leader Stephen Harper's support of a law that is so
universally despised by Canadians is proof that the Canadian Alliance
is still walking with the dinosaurs as are their mentors to the south.

Commons with Jean Chretien)
