UNLV SSDP IGNORES RISKS OF DRUGS

TO THE EDITOR:

This organization is really an organization that strives to make drugs
legal because of the fact that they think it is "harmless". They keep on
spinning the truth, like Sacco's comments about the medical benefits of
Marijuana, which we've already voted on, and passed, I think a few years
back. This is not about medical or anything, and they know it. The
individuals that make-up SSDP want to legally use Marijuana, and that is
why they use this "medical" reason, because they want to fool the American
people in Nevada, and it did not work last time, and it sure will not work
this time.

One of the points that SSDP attempts to make is that alcohol is a bigger
threat than Marijuana, and that there are lesser deaths occurring in cases
of Marijuana in comparison to Alcohol. Marijuana is illegal, and as such,
one would expect that the usage be lower; here is another example of SSDP
spinning the truth.

So, let's be genuine about this, because SSDP and its little followers were
not genuine with Nevadans, and that is why they lost the vote by two-thirds
last election, and if they try again, they'll get even less this time.
