MANY THINGS ALTER THE MIND (3 of 3)

Dear Editor:

I'm writing about Angie Burch's letter in the March 5 Airdrie Echo entitled
Drugs are not the answer.

Granted, drugs can be mind altering substances. So can a lot of other
substances and products be mind altering. It seems to me adult citizens of
any country which claims to be a free country should be able to alter their
own minds in any way they choose. Otherwise, let's be honest and
criminalize a long list of other mind altering products such as movies,
music and books.

And don't forget schools. Schools are mind altering -- at least they should be.
