READ, THINK, AND LEARN

RE "IT'S all spliff and polish," (Feb. 21): The article states, "Only real
pockets of resistance are among the over-60 set and the Canadian Alliance."

Well, it would appear they need to read, think, and learn while keeping an
open mind. Every major drug policy work done in the past 60 years
recommends, at the least, decriminalization.

I have debated many people who oppose decriminalization of marijuana, and I
have never noted even one who has ever read one major drug-policy work.

the drug -- or public opinion)
