GREEN ALERT

Upon hearing that the "Dell Computer Dude" was arrested for
buying marijuana ["Police: 'Dude,' You're Getting a Cell," News,
Feb. 11], I wondered why police were wasting precious
resources hunting generally peaceful pot-smokers during this
dangerous period in history, and then I realized, "Dude, the cops
must be confused over the term 'High Alert.'" Will someone please
straighten them out?
