JUSTICE UP IN SMOKE

A democratic republic, or totalitarian state? The citizens of California
executed their right under the former, enacting Proposition 215. State
judicial review has so far sanctioned the legality of the law. The feds
(Department of Justice) have chosen to deny Californians the right to
medical marijuana, using tactics common to totalitarianism.

Whether storm-trooper raids or suppression of evidence in federal courts,
such illegal exertion of force must be resisted.

Perhaps California Attorney General Bill Lockyer will pose this question to
U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft: "Just when was the 10th Amendment
deleted from the U.S. Constitution?"
