ATHLETES SHOULD TAKE DRUG TESTS

When you think of school, you think of football players and
cheerleaders. You rarely think about the students who are not involved
in any after-school activities.

Football players are the ones who are recognized the most. They are
supposed to be the role models for their school. So should they be
allowed to do drugs on their own time? No.

I believe schools should drug-test the athletics department. If the
athletes want everyone to look up to them, they can stay sober and
take the drug test.

If the athletes fail to take the test, or fail the test, they should
be eliminated from the team or activities they are in for at least two
years.

As for the rest of the student body who are not on a team or in an
activity, why should they have to take the drug test when it never
matters to the school what those students do anyway?
