DAVIES TURNS NASTY ON DRUGS

INDEFATIGABLE musician Nasty D is on the Copperbelt for a number of shows
where he will also bring out anti-drug awareness messages.

The turbaned musician who is now staying at a farm in Kabwe disclosed that
the magistrate who convicted him recently had demanded that he brings
awareness of the dangers of drugs.

Nasty D (fondly called Ba Nasty) said next week on Saturday he will be
performing at Baluba Motel in Luanshya before holding several other shows
at Dolphin in Ndola.

His busy schedule during the festive season will also see him perform in
Kabwe were he almost lost an argument against freedom of movement.

"I want to speak out against drugs including beer which has escaped blame
for a lot of ills like violence, accidents, divorces and several other
social problems," he said.

The soft-spoken musician said he was also practising hard with his musician
friends in Kabwe just to keep in shape musically.
