In his column (Oct. 21) on Rush Limbaugh, he makes assumptions that have no basis in fact. I have seen several Florida prosecutors interviewed on the subject. They have stated that no drugs have been found in Limbaugh's possession; without possession, there is little or no chance that any charges will be made. The left-wing nuts will throw around the idea of Rush being a hypocrite; that is also nonsense. He became addicted to pain-killers after unsuccessful surgery. Rush has railed against cocaine, heroin and marijuana users. These users became addicted by playing around with drugs to get high. They did it to themselves. I have no sympathy for them, nor did Rush. There is no hypocrisy in that position. Gordon Bloyer, Portage, Ind. - --- MAP posted-by: Larry Stevens
