CHRETIEN A BAD EXAMPLE

It was with shock and profound dismay that I learned of Prime Minister
Jean Chretien's comment that when marijuana is de-criminalized, he
might try it. Is the government just testing us to see how much we
will put up with without physically turfing him out? I am incensed. I
am desperately trying to raise a decent family and I must explain to
my children that our prime minister cannot be respected because he may
engage in an activity which I have made clear to them is very wrong.

What we need in this country is a solid moral foundation to build our
families and in turn our society on, not an arrogant dictatorship with
a head of state who thumbs his nose at many of the things a
traditional family holds dear. I am ashamed that this man represents
the country I live in.
