POT BUST

To The Editor:

Legislator Richard Wilson refers to voters as "useful idiots"! As his
Drug Task Force burns 25 acres of hemp and calls it a major $80
million operation? It's time for the scam known as, the war on drugs
to end. The drug war opportunists have been using that crop of hemp
for years to inflate budgets.

Mr. Kelly I have read your columns for over 30 years and find it
disturbing that you let your self be manipulated. You have to know
what is going on! Don't you feel any sense of guilt misleading your
readers? Ask any farmer, planting 75,000 seeds takes' equipment and
manpower. It would take months to hand plant 75,000 seeds!

If St. Lawrence County is moving into bio-fuel industries, hemp should
be in serious consideration a long with recycled restaurant cooking
oil and soy.

Hemp is in beauty creams. Some of the beauty salons in Ogdenburg have
hemp shampoo and hemp soap. A recent article stated that since Canada
re-legalized hemp, the farmers couldn't keep up with orders.

In the U.S. we cut down hemp and call it a victory in the war on
drugs! Marijuana jihad!
