CAUSE FOR CONCERN

Regarding the article, Medicinal pot a bargain at $5 (July 10).

Let me get this straight.

According to the quote from RCMP Staff Sgt. Marc Pinault, he's worried
about who is going to take responsibility for shooting someone who is an
authorized grower of marijuana.

Do they really think someone who is allowed to be growing the stuff is
going to put up such resistance to the arrival of officers that they're
going to have to shoot this person, when he or she is not doing anything
that is currently illegal?

Kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it? In that case, I'd say the
responsibility would fall squarely on the shoulders of the officer who shot
someone without just cause, wouldn't you?
