200 POT PLANTS SEIZED FROM HOME 4 DOORS FROM BROWARD SHERIFF'S

HOLLYWOOD -- A task force of police officers on Thursday seized more
than 200 marijuana plants after raiding a "grow house" several doors
from the residence of Broward County's sheriff.

The raid on the four-bedroom home just off Stirling Road -- only four
doors from Sheriff Ken Jenne's home -- also netted two men.

Altogether, eight homes in Hollywood and one in neighboring Dania
Beach have been raided, police said.

The raids continue and more arrests are possible.

Police said the raids started around 9 a.m. Thursday. They also said
the pot plants were being grown hydroponically inside the house.

Hollywood police, federal Drug Enforcement Administration agents and
Broward Sheriff's Office deputies were included in the task force.
