TOKE AND DRIVE

LETTER WRITER S. Smrekar (Jan. 10) and the editors of the Sun ought to
peruse the recent Senate committee report which dealt at length with
driving issues. The gist of the report says that every driving study
ever done showed that cannabis users were safer behind the wheel than
those who were "high on life." There certainly is no impairment that
could be proved in a court of law. Perhaps S. Smrekar would become a
more mellow and tolerant person if he were to toke and drive.

(It's foolish suggestions like yours that actually set back the cause
of pot decriminalization. Responsible marijuana users say no one
should toke and drive)
