MARIJUANA USES

Medical marijuana is not something new, in fact it can be dated back nearly
5,000 years from old Chinese medical references.

It just seems like were hearing a lot about it these days. That's probably
because of AB 715, a bill that was introduced to the house in January that
would allow the seriously sick citizens of Wisconsin to use marijuana for
medical purposes.

A poll was recently taken by the Chamberlain Research Consultants on
whether Wisconsin residents support the legalization of Medical Marijuana
for the seriously ill.

The results were released on Tuesday 3/12/02 and showed that an outstanding
80.3 percent of the residents supporting the use of medical marijuana.
There is more than just the citizens that would like to see medical
marijuana in the state. The Wisconsin Nurses Association also voiced their
support for the use of medical marijuana. Who knows better then the medical
community that looks after and takes care of our sick?

Maybe now with strong support like this, the seriously ill will be able to
be treated like patients and not criminals. I urge you all to wake up and
get active, don't just sit back and let your politicians poll that wool
over your eyes. Anyone who is interested in what they can do please visit
www.immly.org. Lets show compassion for the sick and not ignorance.
