PICK YOUR PLACE MORE CAREFULLY

PETA and the Cannabis Party picked strange venues in which to raise "public
awareness" or gather support for their causes. It started with PETA handing
out pamphlets at elementary schools showing fat babies farting. If PETA is
so concerned about flatulence I'd like to know where it stands on broccoli
or beans. Both members of The Cannabis Party decided the best place to
express their right to be high was a high school where recent drug arrests
were made and most of the kids are too young to vote. Sounds like some
people are one Zig-Zag paper short of a joint. What next? The NRA holding a
demonstration outside Columbine school?

Exercise your right to free speech, everyone. But if you want to be taken
seriously, use common sense when choosing the place to set up your soapbox.

(Demanding they display common sense would silence a lot of people.)
