GOING TO POT

I have been reading in the papers that everybody seems to be in favour
of legalizing marijuana. For years, we have been saying how bad it is
to smoke cigarettes; they are hard on the lungs, whatever. Now, we
considering legalizing the smoking of marijuana, which burns hotter
and certainly will produce cancer faster than tobacco.

If we are going to ban smoking, let's do it on all smoking products.
So, if you want a high from marijuana, you had better be able to make
brownies if you are going to use it safely.

I think this is a case of one hand not knowing what the other is
doing. Just wait until we get a bunch of high drivers, an epidemic of
lung cancer.

If people need it, why don't you prescribe it like any other
drug?

Drunk drivers are a problem; wait until you see what legalized smoking
of marijuana will do.

Also, what is the age limit going to be to smoke this - elementary
school or junior high?

I am appalled that the government is even considering doing something
like this!
