POT EDITORIAL OFF BASE

Regarding Friday's editorial opposing Proposition 203, "Dealing with 
drugs": The cost of the Department of Public Safety distributing medical 
marijuana to a few hundred people pales in comparison to the cost of 
arresting, booking, and housing the thousands arrested each year for 
possession of marijuana. Instead of having DPS officers wasting time on 
petty arrests, let them spend their time on more serious crimes.
