CANNABIS HAS MANY USES

Connie Pheifer is correct in her letter "God Makes Poison Ivy, Too" (as
well as marijuana/cannabis).

The difference is that cannabis has thousands of uses, is of tremendous
benefit to millions of people, is not poisonous or physically addictive,
and, for a reason I have yet to ascertain, illegal.

If Connie was to be arrested for growing Poison Ivy in her garden, she
would rapidly understand the problem marijuana growers face.

What right do governments have to tell us which plants we can and cannot
grow, and what right do they have to invade the privacy of people who's
only so-called crime has no victims?
