NOT ONLY KIDS SMOKE WEED

THE FIRST three letters to the editor in Friday's edition all seem to think 
that marijuana is only used by young people. Quotes such as "a 
back-to-school gift for drug pushers," or marijuana smoke funelling 
"through our towns and villages while killing our youth" (???) etc., all 
give the naive impression that only kids smoke weed, which is hardly the 
case. Most young kids today would probably prefer alcohol - their parents' 
drug of choice - not weed. To E. Desrosiers, John Taylor and Allan Page, 
save your arguments for the next time someone suggests weed be legal, which 
probably will never happen in their lifetime.
