FBI HAS ITS PRIORITIES GRIEVOUSLY MIXED UP.

I am very disturbed by Mark Flatten's story "VALLEY FBI STIFLED TERROR
FIGHT" (July 7). It seems that our FBI is more interested in grabbing
headlines and photo opportunities via our counterproductive, unwinnable war
on certain (politically selected) drugs than protecting us from people that
want to kill as many Americans as possible.

To say that the FBI has its priorities mixed up is a very big understatement.

If the United States had continued the counterproductive policy of Alcohol
Prohibition, I doubt that the Allies would have been victorious in World
War II.

If the United States continues our counterproductive policy of drug
prohibition, our very survival as a nation is in serious jeopardy.
