ENERGY AND POT

Editor -- So, let me get this straight: Our federal government doesn't
think it has the authority to regulate the cost of energy, but the U.S.
Supreme Court has ruled it can impede Californians' right to provide
medical marijuana to its citizens at any cost.

Now that Canada and England allow government-sanctioned medical marijuana
farms, and countries all over the world grow industrial hemp, only
Americans will forfeit the right to produce and market cannabis for both
medical and industrial uses (which include energy from biomass and seed
oil). Meanwhile, we pay dearly for the use of all of our natural resources
and for the imprisonment of the seriously ill. At this rate, our country
will soon be financially bankrupt. It already is morally so.
