Note: Parenthetical remark by the Sun editor

YOU NEVER LISTEN TO ME

It ought to be beneath the dignity of a newspaper to allow for ad
hominem attacks, never mind perpetrating them. In every letter I ever
wrote I attack the ideas and not the people who hold them.

That I ought to get my head out of my ass is all very well as a
personal attack. However, I don't see my ideas being attacked. In fact
the Sun editors have suppressed them whenever I make mince meat of
your socialist ideals.

The medical model of drug taking and of psychiatry in general is a
falsehood. Drug taking is a moral and a volitional matter. Psychiatry
(where we find addiction) and its believers deal in the realms of
politics and morals. I have answered every one of my critics and not
once has the Sun had the nerve to print my rebuttals.

That is an outrage. It is irresponsible and yellow journalism that
will not allow for rebuttal.

I request the Sun print my rebuttal to Jim Seggie. I have yet to lose
a debate to a prohibitionist. It is a simple matter of understanding
that all their arguments are based on faith and legislated lies and
run a circular pattern from there.

I will no longer respond to The Sun should I not be allowed to defend
myself. It is my opinion the readers of your paper shall be the poorer
for it.

(You've no doubt noticed we corrected your "ad homien" to "ad
hominem." No thanks are necessary. As for your charge of yellow
journalism, the Sun is not in business to provide a forum for your
views.)
