Dear Editor:

It would be nice if John Conway or your editors had enough elementary
knowledge of drugs to know that cocaine is not a narcotic. Errors like that
just show your complete ignorance of the subject.

In 1973, President Nixon's U.S. National Commission on Marihuana and Drug
Abuse said the real drug problem is not marijuana or heroin or cocaine. The
real drug problem, they said, is the ignorance of the people who have never
bothered to read the most basic research on the subject. John Conway and
your editors prove it is still true.

If you are actually interested in learning anything, you can find a
complete collection of the full text of every major study of the subject at
www.druglibrary.or/schaffer under Major Studies of Drugs and Drug Policy.

Lazy, inaccurate reporting doesn't speak well of you.
