ICE CREAM TO POT?

So now we are to assume that having an alcoholic drink or smoking pot 
will make a person want to run out and use harder drugs? I am 
guessing that all the people who use hard drugs previously ate ice 
cream. Does this make ice cream the gateway to hard drugs?
