Why? Woehr's main passion is to end what he considers the futile and expensive war on drugs, and he claims more Republicans than Democrats have seen the light: author William F. Buckley; economist Milton Friedman; former Secretary of State George Shultz; former U.S. Rep. Tom Campbell, R-Calif. (who lost a challenge to Sen. Dianne Feinstein last year), and "our poster boy," Gov. Gary Johnson of New Mexico. But if any major Colorado Republicans have turned against the drug war, they're still keeping their light under a bushel. - --- MAP posted-by: Josh Sutcliffe
