GESTAPO TACTICS
The Aug. 21 story, "Drug raid on wrong home traumatizes residents" was
horrible reading. Not since Nazis raided homes and rounded up Jews has
anything like this happened before.
The no-knock exemption to the 4th Amendment ruling by the Supreme Court
would make Hitler smile in his grave. Fighting drugs is one thing, but not
at the expense of civil liberty.
It's a shame that Americans can't be safe in their own homes without the
fear of law enforcement kicking in their doors in an attempt to catch an
addict trying to pay for his habit.
