WHACK THAT WEED

Don Feder once again tells it like it is ("National Review logic goes up in
smoke," Aug. 22). The article to which he responds is merely one of the
many examples of the propagandizing used by those who seek to downplay the
dangers of marijuana for their own self interest, their attempt to
rationalize their own use, or their sheer naivete about the subject. Feder
know the tentacles of the legalization movement and its financial strength
provided by George Soros.

Marijuana, on its own, is one of the most insidiously dangerous drugs. Ask
any parent who has been affected by a child's use. We urge parents to go to
the registered historic site -- the Boston Commons -- on Sept. 15 and see
for themselves the many young people walking around stoned, and see how the
powers that be allow the flagrant use and sale of dugs and drug
paraphernalia under the guise of freedom of speech.
