Wow, this opinion sure blows my mind ("Stop posing as prostitutes and drug dealers," July 25). Apparently this person's life has never been affected by someone else's drug use. Where is the common sense here? How can anyone believe that no one else is endangered when someone uses drugs? Every time a person operates a motor vehicle while under the influence of a drug every person on the road is at risk. And what about how the drug user's family is affected, or does the destruction of a drug user's family just fall under Pat Skidmore's classification of "personal tragedies." I suppose it's a personal tragedy when an innocent baby is born addicted to drugs or deformed because the mother made some "poor choices" and used drugs while she was pregnant. I guess the innocent baby isn't considered a victim. TERESA BLUE Thurmont - --- MAP posted-by: Terry Liittschwager
