GUN CONTROL LAWS WON'T BE EFFECTIVE

SIOUX CITY - Naive citizens, clamoring for government gun control are
devoid of both foresight and hindsight. Did Prohibition eliminate the
sale and guzzling of intoxicating liquor? No! It created the Mafia,
gangs of rum runners and bootleggers, becoming wealthy almost overnight.

Has outlawing additive drugs had any impact on halting their
production, distribution and use? No, again! Drug lords are
everywhere, waxing fat and battling and killing for dominance in the
trade and addicts are plundering and murdering to obtain funds to
support their habit.

Car theft, is also labeled a felony, but is increasing by leaps and
bounds because officials can't come up with a way to curb it.
Carjacking is escalating into a profitable venture.

Gun control would be about as effective as a Band-Aid on a cancer,
because guns will continue to be sold, hoarded, traded, stolen and
black marketed and all the yapping and laws to the contrary won't
amount to a hill of beans to those determined to own a firearm for
protection and hunting, or unlawful purposes. Government interference
in our lives, has reached the saturation point! - Faith Welding
