DRUG WAR DAY CELEBRATION

In apropos fashion, China celebrated UN Drug War Day recently by killing a
dozen captured drug dealers, drug farmers and methamphetamine manufacturers.

After all, drug war is still war even if all the casualties are civilian.

Chinese authorities also celebrated Drug War Day by torching a collection
of confiscated illicit drugs. Ironically, by burning the drugs under their
control, authorities surrendered exclusive control of illicit drugs back to
the illicit dealers.

Why should government give aid and comfort to the enemy by protecting the
illicit drug distribution monopoly?

Such is the nature of drug war, "Microsoft government" where the public is
harmed as the government aims to help.
